 MART STEM ÇALIŞMALARI-MARCH STEM STUDIES Bu ayda bu zamana kadar yaptığımız çalışmaların genel bir STEM etkinliklerini yaptık ve değerlendirdik. Matematik entegrasyon çalışmamızda oluşturduğumuz kirli ve temiz deniz kolaj çalışmasını da kullanarak damlalar ile matematik çalışması gerçekleştirdik. zarımızı attık ve kaç geldiyse o kadar denize damla bıraktık.Damlalar çoğaldıkça sular arttı.Bu etkinliği grup çalışması olarak yaptık. This month, we conducted and evaluated a general review of the STEM activities we've done so far. Using the dirty and clean sea collage we created for our math integration work, we also performed a math activity with droplets. We rolled the dice and released as many droplets into the sea as the number of droplets landed. As the number of droplets increased, the water level rose. We did this activity as a group project.  "Science Activities" The children were given the following materials: soil, salt, two identical pieces of ice, and two plastic plates to place the ice on. First, they put soil and salt into a cup and mixed them together. Then, they covered one piece of ice with this mixture. They placed each piece of ice on a separate plate and put them in the sun. After observing them, they noticed that the piece of ice covered with soil and salt melted first. "Technology Activities" The children experimented with different filters to understand how technology creates tools to solve problems. “Which tool can hold back the sand but allow air to pass through?” First, they tried blowing air, and then they used a small hair dryer to test which filter could hold the mixture.  ŞUBAT STEM ÇALIŞMALARI FEBRUARY STEM STUDIES STEM çalışmamızın ilk basamağı olan Scıence kapsamında deneyimizi gerçekleştirdik. Deneyimizde amaç  ç ocuklar koyu renkli yüzeylerin daha fazla ısıyı emdiğini ve daha hızlı eridiğini anlamalarını gözlemleyerek görmelerini sağlamaktır.  Febrary activities:  The story that inspired our actions: ”Damla carefully observed the strong winds blowing around the Aral Sea. The wind blew fine grains of sand and salt into the sky. Damla learned that these grains reached the distant mountain glaciers, darkening their pristine white surfaces and making them absorb more sunlight. This was the reason why the glaciers were melting rapidly.” 1 Science: Children experiment and observe how dark surfaces attract more heat and melt faster. 2 Math: Children first use markers and then a ruler to measure how far the sand travels when we blow hard and when we blow gently. 3.   "Reading story-Reflection" We studied the fourth chapter of the story, discussed the problems caused by sandstorms, and the students illustrated their suggestions for reducing the damage they cause. "Science-Technology-Engineering Ativities" The children were divided into groups, and each group was given sand. They touched it and observed that the grains were separate from one another. Then, they added water to the soil and noticed that the grains stuck together. Based on this observation, they hypothesized which type of soil could cause a sandstorm. They experimented and confirmed their predictions. Next, they placed a homemade field behind the plate with the soil and added plants made of modeling clay. They blew air again and observed how the sandstorm covered the plants with dust, causing damage to them.
