We experimented with clean ice cubes and ice cubes covered with salt and observed how everything melted in the sun. The ctudents noticed that the ice cubes that were covered with salt melted faster.


We created a simple anemometer. When the wind blows gently the ribbons move a little while when the wind blows strongly the ribbons move a lot. The movement of the ribbons also shows us the direction of the wind.

We had planted plants in our school yard. Now that the weather is warmer, they need water to grow. We take care of our plants by watering them when needed.

 KASIM AYI STEM ÇALIŞMALARI Öğrencilere verimli sulama yöntemlerinin resimleri gösterilir. Resimler tahtaya yapıştırılır. Öğrencilerden bu yöntemleri çevrelerinde görüp görmedikleri ve hangilerini gördükleri sorulur. Daha sonra, hangi sulama yönteminin hangi örneğe uyduğunu bulmaya çalışarak bu yöntemlerle ilgili bir eşleştirme oyunu oynayacakları söylenir. Amaç, su verimliliğini sağlayacak sulama yöntemlerinin farkına varmaktır. Bu etkinlik büyük grup etkinliği olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Students are shown pictures of efficient irrigation methods.  "Science Activities" The children were given the following materials: soil, salt, two identical pieces of ice, and two plastic plates to place the ice on. First, they put soil and salt into a cup and mixed them together. Then, they covered one piece of ice with this mixture. They placed each piece of ice on a separate plate and put them in the sun. After observing them, they noticed that the piece of ice covered with soil and salt melted first. "Technology Activities" The children experimented with different filters to understand how technology creates tools to solve problems. “Which tool can hold back the sand but allow air to pass through?” First, they tried blowing air, and then they used a small hair dryer to test which filter could hold the mixture.
