Our actions in December: The activities are prompted by the continuation of the story: “Damla the drop floats in a river near the Aral Sea. But the river water is not clean; it is full of colored foam and has a bad smell. The fish have difficulty breathing and some look sick.

Damla wonders: “What is happening in this river? Why can the water be polluted?”

“What kind of waste ends up in our rivers from factories or cities?”

“What can we do to prevent this polluted water from harming living things?

1) Children draw and provide solutions to the above questions. They design smart machines and robots that purify water.

 2) Science: We design a simple water purification filter

 3) ART: Children use various materials to construct a river with clean water and one polluted with garbage.

 4) Mathematics: Children use a ruler to measure the amount of water in each glass and write the corresponding number.



5) Engineering: “Build a Dam – Clean Water Collector”

Children use Lego bricks to create a dam that prevents pollution and overflow.

The students proposed ideas on how to save water. They then watched a video about the water cycle and arranged the pictures in the correct sequence to show how the cycle works. Afterwards, the children dramatized the water cycle through a short theatrical play. Finally, they completed a worksheet by drawing the missing image of rain in the rain cycle.
