1 Science: "Where Does Water Go?"

Children observe how water contains different substances than soil, sand, and rocks.

2 Engineering and Technology: Children build a simple rainwater harvesting system.

3 Mathematics: "Counting the Drops"

4 Science: "The Thirsty Plant" The children plant wheat seeds in two cups. They water one regularly, while leaving the other without water. Observing the development, they find that only the watered seed sprouts, and thus they conclude: "Without water, nothing can grow."

5 Science and Art: Children pour colored water on the roots of a painted tree. 

They observe how the color spreads. Plants "drink" water from their roots
