OCAK AYI STEM ÇALIŞMALARIMIZ

OUR STEM ACTIVITIES IN JANUARY

Hikaye öğrencilere tekrar okunuyor. Çölleşmenin ne anlama geldiği soruluyor. Öğrencilere çöl resimleri gösteriliyor. Ardından, "Kum fırtınası" terimini duyduğunuzda aklınıza ne geliyor?" diye soruluyor ve resimler ile videolar gösteriliyor. Daha sonra, bir bilim etkinliği olan STEM etkinliğimiz gerçekleştiriliyor. Bunun için iki tabağa kum konuluyor. Tabaklardan biri suyla nemlendiriliyor. Öğrencilere hangi tabağın çöle daha yakın olduğu soruluyor.

The story is read to the students again. They are asked what desertification means. Pictures of deserts are shown to the students. Then, they are asked, "What comes to mind when you hear the term 'sandstorm'?" and pictures and videos are shown. After that, our STEM activity, a science activity, is conducted. For this, sand is placed in two plates. One of the plates is moistened with water. Students are asked which plate is closer to the desert. 


STEM bilim etkinliğimizin ardından, bir bardağa kaç kaşık kum sığdığını ölçerek matematiği entegre ettik.

Following our STEM science activity, we integrated mathematics by measuring how many spoonfuls of sand fit in a glass.


Öğrencilerimizle çölleşmeyi önlemenin en iyi yolunun çevremize ağaç dikmek olduğu sonucuna vardıktan sonra, onlara gerekli malzemeleri sağladık ve bunlarla tohum topları yaptık.

After concluding with our students that the best way to prevent desertification is to plant trees in our environment, we provided them with the necessary materials and made seed balls with them.


Önceki STEM projemizde yaptığımız mancınıkları kullanarak toprağa tohum topları fırlattık. Bu sayede öğrencilerim mancınığı tekrar test ettiler ve çok eğlendiler.
Using the catapults we made in our previous STEM project, we launched seed balls into the soil. This allowed my students to test the catapult again and had a lot of fun.


Sınıfımızda wordwall ve jigsawplanet dijital oyunlarını oynadık.
We played the digital games Wordwall and Jigsawplanet in our classroom.

EKİM AYI ÇALIŞMALARI-OCTOBER WORK SUYU TANIMAK- GETTING TO KNOW WATER- LESS WATER MORE FUTURE eTwinning projemize önce suyun döngüsünü tanıyarak başladık. Su döngüsü ile ilgili önerilen videolardan ilkini sınıfımızda izledik. We started our LESS WATER MORE FUTURE eTwinning project by first getting to know the water cycle. The students proposed ideas on how to save water. They then watched a video about the water cycle and arranged the pictures in the correct sequence to show how the cycle works.
